St James Anglican Church:
A parish of the Orthodox Anglican Church
St. James Anglican Church, a parish of the Orthodox Anglican Church, is a new Orthodox Anglican Church plant in New Bern, NC, under the blessing, leadership, and oversight of our Presiding Bishop and Archbishop of the worldwide Orthodox Anglican Communion, The Most Reverend Thomas E. Gordon.
We are a House Church for now, happily and gratefully worshiping every Sunday at 10 am with a Deacon's Distribution and service of Holy Communion from the 1928 Book of Common Prayer in the wonderful home of founding members John & April Adams on Rhem Avenue in the beautiful historic neighborhood of Ghent. We are praying for and seeking a public space to worship and to conduct Bible Study & Ministry, but we are in no hurry... all in God's perfect time! In the meantime... please join us, if the Spirit moves you or you're just curious, for a loving and Sacramental Orthodox Anglican worship service.
The Apostolic and Anglican traditions of our faith and belief in Jesus and His Gospel are alive and well at St. James, and ALL are welcome!
Please pray for our Ministry; to each other, and to the New Bern Community!
-Reverend William Barrow (Deacon Bill)
